Custom Frames
Our custom frames are a great way of expressing yourself and/or a great combination to go with your plate. You may choose between a chrome plated die cast, a black matte or gold frame. The frames have top and bottom insert panels for holding the acrylic insert strips. We have many color choices for the engraved insert strips, which are bonded to the chrome/black or gold frame. Custom frames are $16.99 for chrome or black, $18.99 for brass. We are not set-up online for your personalized orders at this time, but you may call 1-800-365-7233 or e-mail us at info@autolicenseplatesandframes.com with your requests and we will be happy to assist you. Our featured frames fit any 6 inch by 12 inch state issued license plate or 4 inch by 7 inch for motorcycle plates. They will not fade, rust or peel. Both top and bottom strips can have up to 30 characters. The top strip consists of a smaller area in which to engrave, so the less characters you choose for the top strip the larger the letters will appear. Two-holes normally appear on the top frame but for bottom mounting vehicles, frame can always be turned over with your larger strip on top and the smaller strip with holes on the bottom. The most popular color strip is our black strip with white letters. This strip can basically go with any auto color. We probably use this 98% of the time, followed by red or blue with white and silver or gold with black lettering. Others colors are also available. Car, truck, SUV, or trailer frames are available in black, silver or gold. Motorcycle frames are available in black, silver or gold.
